Whether savoring a smoky whisky or a rich, aged rum, we realized that many people want to explore the world of spirits but often feel overwhelmed by the sheer variety. With so many options, the question becomes: Where do you even start?
Take Scotland, for instance – home to over 130 whisky distilleries, each with its own unique flavors and character. Choosing the right bottle can be daunting, especially for beginners. That’s why we created El Cartel tasting kits – to make discovering spirits easy, fun, and educational.
Our tasting kits are thoughtfully curated, bringing together whiskies or rums from different regions and styles. Each kit includes a beautifully designed booklet that offers tasting notes, pairing tips, and insight into the heritage behind these spirits. It’s a speed course into the spirit landscape, helping you uncover your favorite flavors without having to invest in full-sized bottles.
We also wanted the El Cartel experience to feel special. Inspired by the tradition of pairing whisky and rum with cigars, our tasting kits are designed to resemble cigar boxes, with each spirit elegantly packaged in cigar-like tubes. This nod to classic sophistication enhances the unboxing experience and gives our kits a timeless, luxurious feel.
